Who we are

We are a forward-working team of bartenders wine & food waiters and conference crew driven by passion — and fuelled by curiosity. That's not by accident - visibility and trust are the superpowers of exceptional work.

We believe that the human dimensions essential to start any successful project and that this is where splendid emotional relationships between the company and people are born. Standby Team is a newly established hospitality agency that seeks to provide a world-class service across the industry.

We currently focus on supplying wine waiters, bartenders, conference & banqueting and will soon look to expand this range in the future. Standby Team was born out of the recognition that modern-day agencies failed to continuously provide the level of service that was compatible with the demands of prestigious venues.

Like a well-oiled machine, all employees – from the managers to those at the front- and back-of-house, need to work in unison to create a seamless and unforgettable experience for clientele. However, this is not always the case when hiring external workers to aid with such service.

By combining a thorough vetting process, alongside full support and training, Standby Team is well-positioned to offer workers that are tailored in their skillsets and to the requirements of the venue, no matter how tall.

Integral to the smooth functioning of any company are the values that unite them. Here at Standby Team, we take pride in the fact that we are not as large as our competitors. Having a small team helps instil a sense of familiarity amongst our workers, all of whom have developed good chemistry with their peers which helps maximise efficiency while maintaining a strong sense of professionalism.

Standby Team are committed to admitting only the very best in hospitality, which is why all of our workers have been interviewed to demonstrate their skillsets prior to taking on any shifts with a venue. From laying tables for a fine dining experience, to pouring pints and making various cocktails, you can be assured that our team have every base covered in their given role.
